GIOIA Italy – First Overview
Land-only dates for the classic experience are April 6 to April 12.
We’re able to offer an extended GIOIA Air-Land option from LAX, departing April 4 and returning April 13, for a minimum of 20 travelers.

Tuscany Pre-Tour Option April 5 & 6
Two night stay in Florence
If 20 or more travelers are interested to arrive early, we’re offering a GIOIA XL Tuscany pre-tour with two days/nights in the city center of Florence — and an extra night in Rome (Saturday, April 12).

Umbria Experiences
Explore Perugia, Assisi and smaller charming villages
Experience Umbria, the “Green Heart of Italy”. With charming Perugia + Assisi, being the places you may have already heard of, but also smaller charming villages like San Martino in Campo. You’ll spend either two or three nights in this stunning region off the beaten path. SCCA will be singing at least twice in Umbria, plus give recitals we’ll make sure you won’t miss.
In Umbria, GIOA travelers check-in at Posta Donini and the EPIC upgrade brings you to Nun Relais & Spa.

Three or Four Days in Rome & at the Vatican
Benvenuti a Roma: Welcome to the Eternal City. Did we save the best for last?
Your Italian experiences conclude in the capital city of Rome — with three nights for GIOIA classica or four nights if starting early and staying longer on GIOIA XL (minimum of 20 travelers needed for Air-Land option).
Stroll through the historic center, see major sights and local neighborhoods up close — and from your hotels’ beautiful rooftop terrace. Shop for unique gifts, made in Italy. Hear OCYC sing at St. Peter’s Basilica on April 10 at 5 pm — with a short concert before at San Lorenzo. Visit the Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel and tour the Colosseum with the Roman Forum the next day (scheduling depends on ticket availability). Let’s not forget all the great food + drinks awaiting you in the Eternal City.GOIA stays in upgraded rooms with PRIMAVERA at Mama Shelter Rome. Epic upgrade travelers are making Indigo St. George their Roman home away from home.
